Catherine David graduated with an honours degree in Architecture from Auckland University in 1992. In 2009 she graduated with a Masters degree in "Museums and Cultural Heritage" - a curating degree.
Catherine David started her product design career with a range of soft furnishings and bed linen. A collection of this range has been archived by the Auckland War Memorial Museum, New Zealand.
Catherine David Designs Ltd now designs and manufactures a range of functional homeware products which are distributed throughout New Zealand and internationally. The range covers a multitude of materials and functions.
Catherine David resides in Auckland.

The shower curtain range won the New Zealand Home and Entertaining Award in 2005 for best bathroom design product.

Catherine David has recently completed post graduate studies achieving an Masters in a curating degree.
In her spare time Catherine is involved in the art of Icon writing with a Russian art teacher.
