Thank you for sending the shower curtain so promptly. I would like to offer some feedback to you. I was very happy with the quality of the curtain and print but was very disappointed to find that the eyelets/rings were plastic not metal, for the price of your shower curtains I was surprised and felt it let down the overall look. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.
Kind regards Christine29 December 2013
As you appreciate the quality is the best you can buy e.g.. one customer had one of our curtains for over 17 years and came back to buy another after 17 years wanting the same print (which was by then out of print).
In the past - we have only offered plastic C hooks and have recently added the metal clip hooks and as a result of your feedback we will offer the metal eyelets as an additional option when choosing the curtain - at a cost of $5/curtain.
We appreciate your feedback and if you don't mind I would like to include it on our website? Also we would like to offer you a replacement curtain WITH metal eyelets in any design of your choice. This will be sent to you towards the end of Jan giving you plenty of time to consider.
Hope you are having a wonderful holiday and thanks again for your feed back.

Our customer responded:
Thank you for your email and taking the time to respond to me - it is appreciated. I enjoyed reading your email about the lady and her 17 year old shower curtain, a real testament indeed to the quality!
I am delighted to hear you will be offering the metal eyelets as an optional extra. I am sure many people will choose them.
Your offer of a replacement shower curtain is very kind & generous. It was never my intention or expectation to receive anything from you. We had a small business of our own and I appreciated feedback from customers good & not so good. We always tried to use feedback as an opportunity to learn, update or change if needed. Good on you for your open minded attitude! I would be happy for you to use my feedback on your website, but do ask that you don't use my surname.
Happy New Year to you and your family.

I would just like to tell you that I bought a single duvet cover designed by you several years ago for the guest bedroom.
It has a white background with black piping and the body of the cover is black moths on white.
I sometimes see duvet covers in shops that I like and that I consider buying, but I remind myself that none of them are nicer than your one.
I just love your Ancient Illumination shower curtain. Sadly, I don’t have the use for one as our showers have doors on them.
PS I saw the piece on your shower curtains in the latest NZ House and Garden.

My friend will be thrilled - she is an academic in the US, does research on consumption rituals (i.e. shipping in normal speak) related to British Royalty, and she is writing a book on it at the moment, so this is THE perfect gift for her!
(Catherine ordered a Queens Head Black board to be sent directly to her friend in the US)

Can you tell me the best product I can use to soak my nylon curtain around the hem- there is a build up of soap scum, pink in colour - I would really like to be able to bring it back to bright white. I note that the cleaning instructions states no bleach - is there something else I can use?
We said: Hi Philippa - the best way to keep your shower curtain clean is to wash it with towels in the machine on cold reasonably regularly. Once the pinkish soap scum has built up it is quite difficult to remove. You could try this - first, remove your shower curtain and wash with a white sheet, use 1 cup of vinegar,no soap..then rewash with soap powder. This should remove all the residue and mold.
